Adaptation

adaptationBoy does this movie make me think…

Charlie Kaufman (Nicolas Cage) is a Los Angeles screenwriter battling enormous feelings of insecurity and impotence as he struggles to adapt The Orchid Thief, a book by Susan Orlean (Meryl Streep) whose main character, John Laroche (Chris Cooper), searches for love. Add to the mix Charlie’s twin brother, Donald (also played by Cage), and you have a surreal, Spike Jonze-directed gem about the search for passion.

…It will confound and memorize most, it will cause you to ponder endlessly & it will insist that other riff effortlessly about its inspiring thought process.

My opinion: 4/5

Notes: Watch it, now.

…Christkindle 08′!

So I attended Christkindle this year…

Expecting some good food, good drinks and an large assortment of people…

Here is what I got:

It rained the entire time.

I was penny-less anyway.

It rained.

There was no one out.

It rained.

Little kids with beer.

..rain.

It was dark.

..and rainy.

Some fun photos.

…cold, and rainy.

Here’s to good times with friends and making the best of a dreary situation! Here here!

Visuals of what I witnessed.
